In our quest to resolve the energy crisis that has been worsened by the drought, this afternoon we visited TBEA Group, a high-tech enterprise and China’s leading energy equipment manufacturer.
We urgently need to find practical solutions to the energy deficit that we are experiencing as a country. Given the effects of climate change we can no longer only depend on hydro electricity. We are therefore thrilled at the possibility of partnering with TBEA Group who offer a diversified energy mix to address our current energy deficit.
As we have repeatedly stated, we can’t grow our economy with the current energy deficit and load management.
The government, through the Ministry of Energy will be meeting with TBEA before we conclude our visit to agree on the partnership modalities.
